EUPJ – WUPJ
European Union for Progressive Judaism and World Union for Progressive Judaism
The World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ), established in London in 1926, is the international governing body for Judaism reform, liberation, progression and reconstruction movements, serving 1,200 congregations in more than 50 countries, making it the largest Jewish affiliate movement in the world with 1.8 million members.
The European Union for Progressive Judaism (EUPJ) is one of seven regions of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, a one-way organization based in Jerusalem that connects and supports more than 170 liberal, progressive and reform communities in 17 European countries.
The Israeli Youth Association Hehaver – Ohel Jacob Synagogue won the position of affiliated member WUPJ / EUPJ on April 14, 2016.
