Our home is the most important and sacred environment to live and foster the growth of Judaism.
It is there that Judaism can become a creative force to promote wonderful values. It is at home that the continuation of Judaism takes place through the education of the next generations. A conscious Jewish life at home, reinforced by regular participation in the community, strengthens us as Jews and ensures the Jewish future.
- STUDYING HEBREW AND PROMOTING JEWISH CULTURE
An important tool for the maintenance of Judaism is the cultivation of its amazing cultural values.
In order to keep the Jewish essence it is also important to learn Hebrew as well as to acquire a good knowledge of Jewish history.
- RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE JEWISH COMMUNITY
Each Jew is responsible for the other. As a result, we are all responsible for the growth of our community as a whole. We are called to honor our community, our faith and Israel.
- COLLABORATION IN FAVOR OF ISRAEL
With the establishment of the State of Israel we were given not only with the completion of our millennial dream, but also a country where Judaism can be lived in its full integrity. As Jews, we must collaborate to the maintenance and development of the State of Israel as much as possible with our strength, time and with our finances. Whenever necessary, we must defend Israel and its right to exist.
- TSEDAKAH
In reality, TSEDAKAH means JUSTICE. We are obliged to give financial support to the less fortunate, to our communities, to the growth of Judaism through learning and celebrations, to the promotion of Jewish culture, to the development of the land of Israel, and to collaborate with good deeds in general. According to Jewish tradition, we must reserve no less than a tenth of our income addressed to it.
