Jewish festival beginning on the 15th of Tishrei, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles or Harvest, given that it coincides with the harvest season in Israel in the early Autumn. Sukkot commemorates G-d harboring the Jewish ancestors as they traveled from Egypt to the Promised Land. The Four Types of Sukkot express our unity and our belief in the omnipresence of G-d. Coming after the solemn Great Holidays, it is a time of joy and happiness.
